Automation Engineer PLC/SCADA

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and optimize PLC systems, focusing on Siemens (S7-300/400/1500, TIA Portal, WinCC) and/or Allen-Bradley/Rockwell (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, FactoryTalk)
• Participate in the entire project chain from preliminary studies and design to commissioning, validation, and documentation
• Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of control systems and process equipment
• Integrate PLC systems with SCADA, DCS, and MES solutions
• Ensure all automation solutions comply with GMP, GAMP 5, and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to improvement projects and the implementation of new technology

Requirements

• At least 3 years of documented experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLC systems
• Experience in process industry, preferably pharmaceutical or other regulated industries
• Good knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networks
• Proficiency in Swedish and English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical higher education in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent experience
• Experience with integration between PLC and SCADA/DCS/MES
• Experience in advanced troubleshooting and optimization of control systems
• Experience within Life Science, GMP, and regulatory requirements
