Automation Engineer PLC and SCADA

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications and system architecture in collaboration with customers
• Develop software for PLC, HMI, SCADA, and PCS plants
• Design, document, develop, and test control systems
• Participate in support and maintenance for large, established plants
• Contribute to standardization and further development within the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybernetics, Automation, or Mechatronics (or equivalent technical vocational training with experience)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with PLC programming, preferably Siemens
• Interest and experience in SCADA/HMI development, preferably AVEVA products, WinCC, and PCS7
• Ability to take responsibility and a drive for personal development
• Proficiency in Norwegian (C1 level) both oral and written
• Ability to pass security clearance and background checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AVEVA products
• Experience with WinCC and PCS7
