Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand, validate and test using Selenium automation tool with Python scripting language
• Design, develop and support frameworks for web applications and API driven data pipelines
• Work within cross-functional agile project teams to ensure quality throughout the development process
• Research, recommend and implement tools to increase automation
• Mentor team members on automation practices
• Maintain meticulous documentation and a robust log of all test cases and results
• Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality
• Identify and test for functional edge cases outside of expected workflows

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in software testing
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Python
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as TestNG or Hybrid Framework
• Ability to design, implement, and execute test cases
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Proficiency in bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably B.E / B. Tech
