Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automation projects to simplify manufacturing processes.
• Program and configure PLCs (Allen Bradley) and robots (Fanuc, ABB).
• Design 2D and 3D plans using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for machining workshop use.
• Train robot technicians and operators on new equipment and safety procedures.
• Set up, test, and document robotics automation cells and test procedures.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for current robotic systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define sensor, computing, and network requirements.
• Maintain inventory of machine components and develop field support equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or at least 50% completed) in Industrial, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automation field.
• Proven training and experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic/Pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in PLC and Driver programming.
• Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Ability to interpret electrical and electronic control schematics.
• Intermediate level of technical and conversational English.
