About the role

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on the design and realization of assembly equipment (serial or prototyping) according to customer requirements and project specifications.
  • Ensure proper equipment handover to the plant, including performance convergence and team training.
  • Participate in the conception of assembly processes and equipment, ensuring design for manufacturing (DFM) and readiness reviews.
  • Lead or participate in PFMEA workshops to define functional specifications and prevention controls.
  • Validate equipment in supplier workshops and fine-tune machines in the plant to ensure smooth transfer to the production team.
  • Ensure all technical choices align with safety, environment, cost, quality, efficiency, and timing standards.
  • Apply integrated management systems regarding Quality, Environment, and Safety (HSE) in all activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in assembly equipment project management within an automotive Tier 1 supplier or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanics and automation (robotics, plastics, or lighting technology).
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles (layout, flows, manpower).
  • Solid understanding of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and ergonomics.
  • Fluency in English.
