Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the functionality of equipment and its associated security systems
• Perform reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance to guarantee operational safety and efficiency
• Meet proposed activity deadlines and execute tasks to a high standard of quality
• Complete Intervention Registers and Maintenance Logs
• Maintain electromechanical equipment within production, maintenance, and technical areas

Requirements

• Higher technical studies in Automation, Mechatronics, or Electronics
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electricity, and Robotics
• Proficiency in Siemens WinCC Flexible, Step7, and TIA Portal
• Knowledge of industrial networks including Ethernet, Profibus, and Profinet
• Advanced PLC programming skills
• Intermediate English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience interacting with ABB and FANUC robot families (trajectory, design, and maintenance)
• Expertise in technical processes and production workflows
