Automation Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between enterprise systems including Salesforce, NetSuite, and Data Warehouses
• Build and implement automation workflows using Workato to streamline business processes and reduce manual tasks
• Partner with Business Systems Analysts to gather requirements and identify automation opportunities
• Perform thorough unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality integration deployments
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to resolve defects and ensure solutions meet functional requirements
• Manage tasks, user stories, and bugs using Jira within an Agile framework
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all workflows and processes
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for deployed integrations

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in integration and automation development
• Strong expertise in using Workato for enterprise-level integrations
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce and NetSuite
• Solid understanding of API integrations, RESTful services, and data formats like JSON and XML
• Proficiency in unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting workflows
• Experience with Git version control
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, collaborative environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
