About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and evaluate automation projects to improve manufacturability.
  • Create and define RFQ/SOW documents for new supplier integrations.
  • Simulate electrical and pneumatic designs using specialized software.
  • Evaluate new technologies and suppliers to determine the best fit for required applications.
  • Manage the development and implementation of automation projects from quote to follow-up.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve ROI, manage investment costs, and develop scalable solutions.
  • Participate in internal and customer promotion activities to represent industry products and value propositions.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering mechanics, mechatronics, or a similar field.
  • Previous experience in data center projects or working with racks and servers.
  • Proficiency with PLCs (preferably Siemens or Rockwell).
  • Experience with SCADA/HMI systems such as Ignition, WinCC, or FactoryTalk.
  • Knowledge of heat transfer, pumping systems (centrifugal pumps, VFDs), and heat exchangers.
  • Understanding of flow and pressure control, including advanced PID control.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic design, implementation, and debugging.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Coolant Distribution Units (CDU).
  • Knowledge of redundant systems and high availability.
  • Previous experience in screwing processes.
  • Experience working directly with suppliers for automation integration solutions.
