Automation Engineer - DCS

Responsibilities

• Configure, program, and optimize DCS systems to ensure stable and efficient operation
• Participate in projects from design and construction to commissioning and validation
• Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of control systems and process equipment
• Integrate DCS with PLC, SCADA, and/or MES systems
• Ensure automation solutions meet GMP, GAMP 5, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in technical discussions, design phases, FAT/SAT, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Contribute to improvement projects and implementation of new technology

Requirements

• At least 3 years of automation experience within process industry
• Documented experience in DCS configuration, programming, and commissioning
• Proficiency in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
• Experience in Life Science, pharmaceutical, food, healthcare, nuclear, or other regulated industries

Preferred Qualifications

• Higher education degree in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent
• Experience with integration between DCS and PLC/SCADA/MES
• Experience with batch control and recipe systems
• Experience with GMP and validation work
