Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the full-cycle development and maintenance of AI vision inspection systems, including data collection, cleaning, labeling, and augmentation.
• Select appropriate vision inspection models for specific production scenarios such as defect detection and appearance inspection.
• Manage model training, inference framework construction, model compression, and deployment on edge or server-side environments.
• Perform model fine-tuning and performance optimization to ensure system stability and accuracy.
• Participate in technical reviews and solution designs for smart manufacturing projects to evaluate AI feasibility.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate AI capabilities into automated equipment and production lines.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of AI-related work experience within the manufacturing industry, specifically with motor defect or dimension inspection.
• Strong programming skills and a deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and large model algorithm principles.
• Proficient in PyTorch or TensorFlow frameworks, including fine-tuning, transfer learning, and optimization strategies.
• Hands-on experience with computer vision algorithms, specifically YOLO models and object detection.
• Strong mathematical foundation in advanced mathematics, linear algebra, and mathematical statistics.
