Automation Engineer (Automation Equipment Design)

Responsibilities

• Design automatic equipment, fixtures, and poka-yokes to meet production specifications
• Provide production floor support and ensure machine uptime through preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Analyze machine operating standards, wear and tear parts, and product defects
• Perform why-why evaluations and drive permanent corrective actions
• Direct daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization
• Coordinate maintenance activities with engineering and operations teams
• Collaborate on the automation framework for new products and drive improvements for existing processes

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
• Experience with measurement tools
• Knowledge of PDM and GD&T
