About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage internal customers, vendors, and contractors to complete projects on schedule and within budget
- Perform QA/QC of incoming equipment prior to acceptance
- Oversee the installation and validation of hardware and software upgrades
- Coordinate parts shipping, receiving, storage, and staging
- Communicate technical information and 8D reports to senior leadership through presentations
- Assist with preventative maintenance and create standard recovery and troubleshooting documentation
- Provide 24/7 support for installation projects, including on-call requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
- 0 to 3 years of experience in the automation engineering industry
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical details
- Ability to work in a construction environment wearing required PPE and clean room suits
- Ability to lift more than 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- AutoCAD certification and/or professional working experience
- Proven experience or certification in project management
- Experience working across cross-cultural settings and globally distributed projects
