Automation Engineer - AMHS

Responsibilities

• Manage internal customers, vendors, and contractors to complete projects on schedule and within budget
• Perform QA/QC of incoming equipment prior to acceptance
• Oversee the installation and validation of hardware and software upgrades
• Coordinate parts shipping, receiving, storage, and staging
• Communicate technical information and 8D reports to senior leadership through presentations
• Assist with preventative maintenance and create standard recovery and troubleshooting documentation
• Provide 24/7 support for installation projects, including on-call requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
• 0 to 3 years of experience in the automation engineering industry
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical details
• Ability to work in a construction environment wearing required PPE and clean room suits
• Ability to lift more than 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• AutoCAD certification and/or professional working experience
• Proven experience or certification in project management
• Experience working across cross-cultural settings and globally distributed projects
