Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, commission, and optimize automated systems for industrial installations
• Program PLCs, PACs, and control-command systems
• Install and configure automated systems on-site, including testing (requires 30% travel)
• Analyze existing installations to identify and implement performance optimizations
• Provide technical support and expertise to resolve automation issues in production
• Write technical specifications, intervention reports, and project follow-up documentation

Requirements

• Engineering degree in automation, electrical engineering, or mechatronics (Master's level or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial environment
• Proficiency in automated systems and PLCs (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, etc.)
• Mastery of programming software such as Step7 or TIA Portal
• Knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet, IEC61850, etc.)
• Ability to read electrical plans and perform fault analysis
• Mandatory technical English proficiency (C1 level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive, pharmaceutical, or agrifood sectors
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial robotics
