Automation Development Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Design and execute analytics or ML projects with defined scope and measurable deliverables
• Build or enhance data pipelines, models, or dashboards for engineering teams
• Apply advanced statistical or machine learning techniques to manufacturing process data
• Document methodology and present results to engineering leadership
• Collaborate with process engineers to ensure operational relevance

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering with AI specialization
• Completed a Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Advanced proficiency in Python and/or R
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Active thesis or project in ML, data science, or applied analytics
• Availability for a 3-6 month structured internship

Preferred Qualifications

• Research or thesis involving machine learning, predictive modeling, or process analytics
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with time-series data, anomaly detection, or sensor analytics
• Exposure to manufacturing or industrial data environments
