About the role

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed industrial process equipment, including PLC logic controls and electrical power systems.
  • Diagnose malfunctions using field measurements and programmable logic control software to ensure efficient equipment operation.
  • Identify and design process improvements to address inefficiencies and potential electrical problems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including daily log books, wiring schematics (paper and ACAD), and computer program change forms.
  • Comply with all established job safety practices, food safety guidelines, and environmental regulations regarding hazardous materials.
  • Work 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights), Monday through Sunday, including regular overtime and on-call duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and maintain physical endurance for long shifts.
  • Proficiency in using basic hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and operate a computer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electro-Mechanical Technology Degree.
  • Experience with Rockwell PLC systems.
