Automation & Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and document existing interlock matrices and configure new interlocks derived from Process Risk Analysis (PRA)
• Coordinate with engineering, automation, and process safety areas to validate functionality and technical standards compliance
• Provide specialized technical support for the DeltaV control system, including automation, programming, and functional description maintenance
• Prepare work orders for improvements, modifications, or new installations
• Configure instruments using Fieldbus, Profibus, and HART communication protocols
• Develop and implement new control sequences in DeltaV
• Create dynamic graphics based on DTIs and configure simple control loops
• Maintain updated data histories and document technical changes

Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of experience in Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
• Advanced proficiency in DeltaV
• Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Fieldbus, Profibus, and HART
• Knowledge of international IEC standards and corporate standards
• Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industries
• Strong analytical and multidisciplinary coordination skills
