About the role

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new customer opportunities within the assigned territory to expand the Chemistry, Immunoassay, and Automation portfolio.
  • Lead strategic sales campaigns and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized laboratory solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth workflow analyses and "day in the lab" assessments to identify operational inefficiencies and present tailored improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders across healthcare systems and IDNs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform account strategies.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline development, and activity records using CRM tools.
  • Partner with Account Executives and Sales Specialists to ensure aligned messaging and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in complex sales environments (e.g., capital equipment, medical devices, or diagnostics).
  • Proven track record of success in new business acquisition and solution selling.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory diagnostics, specifically Chemistry and Immunoassay workflows.
  • Experience utilizing strategic sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in a field-based role with regional travel.
  • Must reside within the assigned territory.
