Automation and Test Tool Development Engineer Senior

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain core BDD-based frameworks (e.g., Behave) ensuring modularity and scalability
• Develop and maintain a shared library of reusable Gherkin step definitions
• Create libraries that support testing scenarios
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or JFrog for automated testing
• Supervise testing library versioning to ensure compatibility with software under test
• Mentor and train other engineers on framework usage and tools

Requirements

• Professional degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Software Development, or related field
• Mastery of BDD and TDD methodologies
• Experience extending Cucumber or Behave functionalities
• Specialized knowledge in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) integration and real-time signal processing
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Experience managing Linux environments and shell scripting
• Advanced Git proficiency (interactive rebase, cherry-pick, hooks, submodules)
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, including OIDC secret management and custom actions
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and the "Three Amigos" approach
• Hands-on experience with HiL test benches and laboratory equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes)
• Experience with Jira, Jama, Test Rail, and Gherkin
• Advanced English proficiency
