Automation Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop automation architectures for automated cells, including robotics, PLCs, safety systems, industrial networks, and peripheral devices.
• Program, test, and commission Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal, managing control logic, interlocks, and Profinet/Profibus communication.
• Program and integrate industrial robots from ABB, KUKA, and FANUC, performing both online and offline programming.
• Implement robotic safety systems, including SafeMove, DCS, and SafeOp, ensuring compliance with NR-12, ISO 10218, and ISO 13849.
• Optimize production cycles and equipment performance for processes such as machining, casting, assembly, and palletizing.
• Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies for new automation and robotization projects.
• Coordinate with integrators and suppliers of machines and automation systems.
• Provide advanced technical support to Production and Maintenance departments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a senior-level automation role.
• Expertise with Siemens PLC (TIA Portal S7-1200/S7-1500) and industrial networks (Profinet and Profibus).
• Proven experience in programming and integrating ABB, KUKA, and FANUC robots.
• Strong knowledge of machine and robot safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or EPLAN.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience in machining and casting processes.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project.
• Master's degree in Industrialization, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
