About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of RAN nodes and functions
- Contribute to the development and refinement of automation scripts to streamline operations
- Participate in AI-driven use-cases, including the automation of processes using AI agents and LLMs
- Work alongside team members on projects involving complex 5G feature testing and validation
- Maintain clear documentation and reporting of activities and results
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD program at a 4-year college or university
- Minimum 2.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and SciPy
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks including scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras
- Knowledge of LLM APIs, LLM-agents, AI agentic frameworks, and RAG
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux environments with bash scripting skills
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the Co-op/internship term
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, ML workflows, and Argo Workflows
- Understanding of neural network architectures such as CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers
- Prior experience or a keen interest in the Radio Access Network (RAN) domain
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly
