About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and optimize AI-powered workflows to automate cyber defense operations, including alert triage, threat hunting, and incident response.
- Map and analyze existing security processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for AI-driven orchestration.
- Build and maintain workflow orchestration pipelines that integrate AI/ML models, security tools, and data sources.
- Develop and operationalize automation playbooks and runbooks leveraging SOAR platforms and custom scripting.
- Integrate AI-driven capabilities with existing security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Collaborate with threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management teams to translate operational needs into technical specifications.
- Automate compliance checks, governance controls, and operational reporting to improve security posture.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in workflow engineering, security automation, AI/ML operations, or DevSecOps within enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of workflow design and orchestration principles, including process mapping and automation logic.
- Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including model deployment and integration into operational workflows.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or YAML.
- Experience working with REST APIs and automation frameworks.
- Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including threat detection and incident response.
- Experience with data pipelines and data engineering concepts relevant to security telemetry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of LLMs, generative AI, and agentic workflows, including AI governance frameworks.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and firewall technologies (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP certifications).
