Automated Test Team Intern

Responsibilities

• Create and enhance automated test scripts validating 6500 product functionality
• Execute automated test suites and collect results for analysis
• Collaborate with software designers to align on test requirements and expectations
• Apply troubleshooting techniques to diagnose test failures with guidance from software designers

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of core computer science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming
• Experience with GitHub and Jenkins
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming
• Exposure to embedded software development
• Awareness of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
• Understanding of optical networking and networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP
