Automated Line Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support for the installation and operation of automated production and assembly lines
• Troubleshoot advanced automated processes, including electro-mechanical, assembly, and packaging systems
• Utilize PLC and HMI systems to maintain equipment functionality and meet production objectives
• Troubleshoot vision, barcode, and inline print systems
• Develop detailed process maps and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Assist with the validation of equipment and testing methods
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure operational excellence

Requirements

• High School Diploma required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred)
• 4-6 years of related experience in automated production environments
• Strong working knowledge of PLC and HMI systems
• Proven experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems and vision/barcode technology
• Mathematical proficiency, including the ability to apply concepts like geometry, trigonometry, and statistical inference
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and professional journals
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to speak fluent German
• Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
