AutoCAD Draftsman/Technical Detailer

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed plans, sections, elevations, and shop drawings for interior layouts, joinery, and finishes.
• Produce technical documentation for architecture, interior, and MEP integration.
• Create and update drawing sets from concept through to construction stages.
• Incorporate redline comments and design changes from the Senior Technical Designer and other disciplines.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure drawings reflect buildability and installation requirements.
• Develop detailed drawings for bespoke joinery, finishes, and fixtures.
• Maintain organized drawing files, ensuring correct version control and layering in line with QA/QC procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in technical drawing or design documentation within the interior fit-out industry.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction methods, joinery details, and materials.
• Knowledge of local authority drawing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret design sketches and convert them into precise, accurate technical drawings.
• Knowledge of Revit or SketchUp is a plus.
