Auto Polisher

Responsibilities

• Polish repainted surfaces and vehicle panels using rotary or dual-action polishers
• Remove swirl marks, overspray, dust nibs, and minor paint imperfections
• Apply polishing compounds, waxes, and sealants to achieve high-gloss finishes
• Inspect painted surfaces for blemishes, scratches, and texture inconsistencies
• Operate and maintain polishing tools, machines, and pads safely and effectively
• Coordinate with painters, denters, and service advisors to ensure timely job completion
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe polishing area in compliance with workshop standards

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in vehicle polishing and detailing
• Deep knowledge of polishing compounds, paint types, and finishing techniques
• Proficiency in using polishing machines, pads, and various abrasives
• Strong understanding of clear coat systems and paint correction methods
• Ability to identify surface imperfections and apply the correct polishing solutions
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, defect-free work
• Ability to work efficiently to meet daily production targets
