Auto Denter

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles to assess structural and surface damage
• Remove, repair, or replace dented panels using proper tools and techniques
• Perform pulling, hammering, welding, and grinding to reshape vehicle bodies
• Sand and smooth repaired surfaces to prepare for priming and painting
• Ensure proper alignment and fitting of doors, hoods, bumpers, and other panels
• Perform MIG, TIG, or spot welding to fix or reinforce body structures
• Maintain body repair tools and equipment in good working condition
• Adhere to OEM specifications, workshop safety protocols, and PPE requirements

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as an automotive denter in a workshop or body shop
• Proficiency in panel beating, dent removal, and body alignment
• Basic welding and metal fabrication skills
• Ability to read and interpret vehicle body diagrams and repair manuals
• Knowledge of materials such as steel, aluminum, and plastic
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently to meet daily production targets
