About the role
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and settle basic to moderately complex vehicle damage claims
- Inspect vehicle damage for automobiles, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles
- Prepare accurate damage repair estimates and locate necessary parts
- Process claims payments and initiate system-generated checks
- Investigate claim files, review damage, and take photos to determine reparability or total loss
- Document all claim files with detailed notes, evaluations, and decision-making processes
- Prepare, review, and approve repair supplements
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in claims or related field (preferred)
- Strong damage assessment and estimating skills
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct fraud investigations
- Proficiency in digital tools and claim management systems
Preferred Qualifications
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree
