Auditor Lead

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a risk-based annual internal audit plan focused on corporate governance and risk management.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of Internal Financial Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and compliance with the Companies Act 2013 and SEBI regulations.
• Build and embed data analytics routines into standard audit procedures to increase test coverage and detect anomalies.
• Establish continuous monitoring dashboards to identify financial leakages, fraud, and process policy violations.
• Query large datasets from SAP (FI-CO, MM, SD modules) to perform automated root-cause analysis.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments on high-risk areas including capital allocation and pricing strategies.
• Lead or support forensic investigations into whistleblower complaints, ethics violations, or financial irregularities.
• Prepare objective audit reports for the Management Committee and Audit Committee, partnering with CXOs to drive issue closure.
• Manage and upskill a team of internal auditors and oversee co-sourced global consultancy partners.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a premier institution is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience with a focus on corporate audits, governance, and risk advisory.
• Expert understanding of Ind AS, Indian Companies Act, SEBI guidelines, and corporate taxation.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP ERP control frameworks.
• Proficiency in data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, ACL (Galvanize), or Python.
• Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence CXO-level stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), CISA, or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification.
• Previous consultancy experience combined with automotive or manufacturing MNC exposure.
