Auditor

Responsibilities

• Facilitate internal audits of Deere locations globally to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
• Conduct audit testing of assigned areas and identify deficiencies for further investigation
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and the formulation of recommendations to improve controls and operational methods
• Present audit findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans to management
• Perform financial and specialty audits, advisory reviews, and annual control testing to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)
• Participate in department initiatives to drive innovation and continuous improvement within Internal Audit

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Knowledge of US GAAP and auditing standards and requirements
• Demonstrated experience analyzing financial data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven planning and organizational skills
• Ability to build interpersonal relationships and manage difficult conversations
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and possession of a valid passport (or ability to obtain one)

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, MBA, or other relevant professional designation
• Knowledge of John Deere's specific accounting systems and policies
