Auditor, General Audit

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Auditors and Managers in preparing formal audit plans, including approach, timing, and extent of procedures.
• Develop audit programs to define specific procedures for financial and operational examinations.
• Perform audits to evaluate compliance with established policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Execute special projects aimed at improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy of financial reporting and business activities.
• Maintain detailed working papers to document the purpose, procedures, and conclusions of all testwork performed.
• Prepare flowcharts and narratives to document the internal control environment and operational systems.
• Analyze business flows and propose recommendations for addressing non-compliance or operational improvements.
• Support Digital Transformation (DX) and Power BI implementation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, International Business, or Engineering.
• Active CPA or CIA license, or currently a candidate for licensure.
• 2-4 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit.
• Experience with automotive business normatives, lean manufacturing, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Power BI and experience with process automation.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally to affiliates and joint ventures throughout North and South America.
