Audit Senior

Responsibilities

• Oversee assurance engagements for nonprofit, real estate, manufacturing, and construction clients
• Prepare and review audits, compilations, and review engagements
• Review accounting data and financial statements adhering to budget and guidelines
• Identify and research assurance-related questions and workflow efficiencies
• Serve as a primary client contact and build trusted relationships
• Supervise, train, and mentor 2–3 direct reports, including staff and interns
• Stay current on GAAP, SAS, and GAGAS changes
• Collaborate with firm leadership on engagement execution and process improvement

Requirements

• 3+ years of public accounting experience with an assurance background
• Strong technical knowledge of assurance engagement levels
• Ability to manage and develop a team
• Excellent client-facing communication skills
• Experience at a firm of meaningful scale and complexity

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA license
• Experience with CCH Engagement software
