About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute risk-based IT and cyber security audits of moderate to high complexity across Digital Banking, Cloud, and Architecture.
- Assess the design and operational effectiveness of governance and internal controls relating to data protection, infrastructure, and project management.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports, ensuring all conclusions and recommendations are supported by documented evidence.
- Identify significant issues in a business context and work with audit clients to recommend feasible solutions.
- Maintain positive relationship management with audit clients and provide regular status updates on assignments.
- Stay abreast of industry technical matters and maintain information security competency through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in information technology, information security, cyber security, IT risk, or IT audit.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
- Strong knowledge of IT processes including digital banking, cloud engineering, and operations.
- Possession of, or progress toward, one or more certifications: CISA, CISM, CRISC, CRMA, or CCSP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with security assessment tools such as exploit tools or vulnerability assessments.
- Working knowledge of primary banking business areas, such as retail banking.
