About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize PBC schedules, audit support files, and transaction documentation
- Perform reconciliations across bank accounts, AP, AR, and general ledger balances
- Investigate and explain financial variances or discrepancies
- Assist with audit walkthroughs, sample testing, and control verification
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal accounting policies
- Coordinate with finance, accounting, and external auditors to meet deadlines
Requirements
- 1–2+ years of experience in audit support, accounting, finance, or compliance
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Familiarity with accounting systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work U.S. business hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Exposure to SOX, PCAOB, or internal audit processes
- Experience supporting external auditors
- Familiarity with COSO or ISO controls
