Audiovisual Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, build, commissioning, and maintenance of multipurpose spaces, boardrooms, and large conference room AV systems
• Conduct R&D of new technologies and innovative designs, including AI technologies
• Partner with IT builds project management teams during design and build phases
• Design and operate broadcast-grade AV infrastructure for large-scale event spaces
• Perform hands-on proof-of-concept testing and broadcast studio commissioning
• Collaborate with local AV integrators at global offices during system commissioning

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in AV system design, integration, and implementation
• Q-SYS Certifications level 2
• Proficiency in Qsys programming and commissioning (Control, UI, and DSP)
• Experience with Zoom Rooms as a VC platform
• Experience with broadcast AV systems including video cameras, switchers, and SDI/IP infrastructures
• Expertise in programming and troubleshooting DSP systems (QSC, Biamp, Yamaha, etc.)
• Proficiency with Dante networked audio routing and configuration
• Strong knowledge of IP networking design, troubleshooting, and basic switch configuration
• Ability to create detailed AV schematics
• Project management experience and ability to document complex R&D projects
• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco at least 4 days a week
