Audiovisual and Media Production Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical audio support for classes, recordings, academic events, conferences, and special productions for the School of Humanities and Education.
• Operate, configure, and supervise audio equipment including consoles, microphones, interfaces, speakers, recorders, and monitoring systems.
• Perform audio recording, editing, mixing, and post-production for podcasts, interviews, capsules, and recorded classes according to professional standards.
• Prepare technical audio setups for in-person, hybrid, or virtual events, ensuring connectivity, stability, and proper levels.
• Support faculty, students, and academic teams in the proper use of audio resources for their projects and productions.
• Collaborate with audiovisual production specialists to ensure seamless integration between audio, video, lighting, and transmission.

Requirements

• Degree in Audio Engineering, Audiovisual Production, Communication, Music Technology, Sound Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in professional audio equipment operation, including recording, editing, mixing, and technical setup.
• Proficiency in using specialized software, specifically Pro Tools.
• Knowledge of AVID hardware.
