About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct adult audiological evaluations, including pure tones, speech audiometry, tympanometry, acoustic reflexes, and OAEs, for the Veterans Evaluation Services Program
  • Dispense, select, fit, and troubleshoot amplification devices and musician hearing protection
  • Supervise graduate speech-language pathology students conducting hearing screenings in local schools
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and follow Speech-Language and Hearing Center (SLHC) policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in required billing or performance improvement activities

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Audiology
  • ASHA CCC-A certification
  • Valid Massachusetts license to practice Audiology
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with an orientation to client-centered practice
