About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct adult audiological evaluations, including pure tones, speech audiometry, tympanometry, acoustic reflexes, and OAEs, for the Veterans Evaluation Services Program
- Dispense, select, fit, and troubleshoot amplification devices and musician hearing protection
- Supervise graduate speech-language pathology students conducting hearing screenings in local schools
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and follow Speech-Language and Hearing Center (SLHC) policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in required billing or performance improvement activities
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Audiology
- ASHA CCC-A certification
- Valid Massachusetts license to practice Audiology
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with an orientation to client-centered practice
