About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver audiovisual and educational technology services, including broadcasting and video conferencing support.
- Provide technical expertise by troubleshooting hardware/software and developing AV solutions for inter-professional teams.
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling via Microsoft 365, room bookings, and client coordination.
- Install, configure, and maintain AV systems, control systems, and network-enabled equipment.
- Oversee equipment lifecycle management, including procurement, inventory, maintenance, and replacement planning.
- Deliver real-time technical support and training to staff and clinicians via phone, email, and in person.
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders to support system updates and the expansion of ETMS capabilities.
Requirements
- Completion of a 3-year community college program in multimedia, audio/video recording, or a recognized equivalent.
- 3-4 years of practical and related AV experience or 2 years of on-the-job training.
- Strong technical background and skills in audio-visual systems.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a hospital or healthcare environment.
