Audio-Visual Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site AV and streaming support for hybrid and in-person events including town halls and executive off-sites
• Install, configure, and operate professional media equipment including monitors, speakers, cameras, and lighting
• Act as a technical escalation point for Zoom Rooms, NEAT Boards, Q-SYS, and digital signage
• Perform routine system health checks and troubleshoot AV infrastructure performance issues
• Maintain technical documentation and Knowledge Base articles
• Coordinate with third-party AV vendors and manage support contracts
• Participate in the design and execution of office AV installations and upgrades

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience supporting AV systems in enterprise or event environments
• Proven ability to support complex AV setups for hybrid live events
• Familiarity with streaming tools such as ZoomISO, ZoomOSC, vMix, Bitfocus Companion, and Zoom Webinars
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in live settings
• Ability to lift and manoeuvre AV hardware and equipment
• Excellent communication skills for supporting executive stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in Zoom platforms, Google Workspace, Neat, Q-SYS, Logi, and AV-over-IP
• Certifications such as Q-SYS Level 1/2 or AVIXA CTS
• Experience with studio production tools like ATEM switchers, NDI, and Dante audio
• Proficiency with Canva, Keynote, and Google Slides
