Audio Visual Engineer

Responsibilities

• Survey, plan, design, configure, and test multi-classification AV solutions for government customers
• Create custom audiovisual system designs including DSP layouts and system configurations
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to gather and validate system requirements
• Prepare engineering documentation such as signal flow diagrams, bills of materials, and rack elevations
• Lead onsite AV system installations and configuration phases
• Collaborate with facility teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Develop end-user training materials and maintenance plans
• Conduct in-house testing and onsite system commissioning

Requirements

• Active security clearance with polygraph
• 1+ years of related work experience
• Experience in setup, installation, and support of large-scale audiovisual systems
• Experience coordinating or leading schedule-driven tasks
• Experience directly interfacing with customers

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of related systems design and integration experience
• Associate degree or higher in a relevant field
• AVIXA certification
• Hands-on experience with DSP platforms like Biamp or QSC
• Proficiency with control systems including Crestron, Extron, or Thinklogical
• Experience with AutoCAD and Visio
