About the role
Responsibilities
- Survey, plan, design, configure, and test multi-classification AV solutions for government customers
- Create custom audiovisual system designs including DSP layouts and system configurations
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to gather and validate system requirements
- Prepare engineering documentation such as signal flow diagrams, bills of materials, and rack elevations
- Lead onsite AV system installations and configuration phases
- Collaborate with facility teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Develop end-user training materials and maintenance plans
- Conduct in-house testing and onsite system commissioning
Requirements
- Active security clearance with polygraph
- 1+ years of related work experience
- Experience in setup, installation, and support of large-scale audiovisual systems
- Experience coordinating or leading schedule-driven tasks
- Experience directly interfacing with customers
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of related systems design and integration experience
- Associate degree or higher in a relevant field
- AVIXA certification
- Hands-on experience with DSP platforms like Biamp or QSC
- Proficiency with control systems including Crestron, Extron, or Thinklogical
- Experience with AutoCAD and Visio
