About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate digital audio consoles and processors to ensure high-quality sound for live productions
- Manage microphones, DI signals, and other input sources while maintaining broadcast loudness standards
- Collaborate with AV and lighting departments to design and implement new studio setups and acoustic treatments
- Diagnose and repair technical faults in audio equipment, including soldering and PCB component replacement
- Install and configure operating systems (Windows, Linux) and audio-over-IP systems like Dante and SoundGrid
- Monitor equipment performance and implement rapid troubleshooting to minimize production downtime
- Travel to international studio locations to manage system installations and configurations
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in live broadcast, studio, or similar audio engineering roles
- Proficiency in digital audio consoles and signal routing protocols (AES3, SoundGrid, Dante)
- Strong understanding of loudness metering, level alignment, and broadcast standards
- Ability to perform hardware maintenance, including soldering and repairing printed circuit boards
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with AC/DC circuitry and the use of multimeters/test equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Audio engineering degree or equivalent technical certification
- Prior experience in live online casino or multi-table broadcast environments
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Dante Level certifications, Waves certifications)
- Familiarity with video camera operation in a studio control room context
