Responsibilities
- Design and implement the audio software foundation for PlayStation
- Implement audio processing and data flows using Audio CODECs
- Develop high-efficiency, low-latency implementations considering audio signal processing
- Optimize audio functions within embedded environments
- Perform performance tuning based on hardware characteristics
Requirements
- Programming skills using Audio CODECs
- Basic understanding of audio signal processing
- Experience in embedded software development
- Programming proficiency in C, C++, or Assembly
- Ability to debug and solve problems at a low level
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing real-time audio processing
- Experience in OS, driver, or middleware development
- A passion for supporting the foundational elements of a major platform
