Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the audio software foundation for PlayStation
  • Implement audio processing and data flows using Audio CODECs
  • Develop high-efficiency, low-latency implementations considering audio signal processing
  • Optimize audio functions within embedded environments
  • Perform performance tuning based on hardware characteristics

Requirements

  • Programming skills using Audio CODECs
  • Basic understanding of audio signal processing
  • Experience in embedded software development
  • Programming proficiency in C, C++, or Assembly
  • Ability to debug and solve problems at a low level

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing real-time audio processing
  • Experience in OS, driver, or middleware development
  • A passion for supporting the foundational elements of a major platform
