Audience Producer

Responsibilities

• Produce compelling social media content and video for CNBC's global platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Clip broadcast footage and edit it into vertical formats to promote news and interviews.
• Collaborate with reporters to create social-first video content and graphics.
• Execute social strategy and manage day-to-day posting to drive audience engagement.
• Monitor social analytics to optimize posting strategies and content performance.
• Write engaging copy in American English consistent with CNBC’s style.
• Stay ahead of digital trends, platform shifts, and emerging audience behaviors.
• Work a schedule of 10am-6pm, with flexibility for non-traditional hours during major news events.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in social media or audience development.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop for video editing and graphic design.
• Strong news judgment and a deep understanding of journalism standards.
• Excellent writing, grammar, and copy-editing skills.
• Experience using CMS and analytics tools (e.g., Parse.ly or Chartbeat).
• Proven track record of growing social media accounts for a major brand.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial news coverage and breaking news.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.
