Attorney

Responsibilities

• Provide regular and ongoing legal advice and support to the Company and its various functional groups.
• Review, negotiate, and draft complex construction contracts, including EPC, design-build, and joint venture agreements.
• Manage major commercial litigation and disputes, performing initial case assessments and risk evaluations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to mitigate legal risks.
• Coordinate negotiations on major subcontracts and lead strategic management of assigned legal matters.
• Develop and deliver legal training to the larger organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of transactional, corporate, and/or litigation experience.
• J.D. degree and an active attorney's license.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership and C-Suite executives.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in construction law, government contracts, government investigations, environmental law, or labor law.
