Attorney

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage international distribution agreements and related security, financing, and ancillary documentation
• Provide proactive legal and business advice concerning the international distribution of film and television content
• Support international co-financing, co-production agreements, film markets, and festivals
• Improve deal parameters, templates, long-form agreements, and contract management systems
• Maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships through effective communication regarding deal negotiation and business strategy

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience (PQE)
• Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property law as it relates to the entertainment ecosystem
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• In-house entertainment business/legal affairs or entertainment finance experience
• Experience within an entertainment law firm
