Attitude Guidance & Performance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for ADCS performance, guidance algorithms, and attitude control across the spacecraft fleet
• Work with Program Lead Systems Engineers to define performance requirements, consolidate budgets, and ADCS allocations
• Develop and validate attitude guidance algorithms for both ground and in-orbit applications
• Develop ADCS calibration strategies and coordinate with bus suppliers for anomaly resolution
• Support customer interactions regarding ADCS performance and act as the technical reference for the in-orbit fleet
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex ADCS anomalies

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as an attitude control architect or engineer
• Extensive knowledge of Python
• Expertise in attitude dynamics, guidance, and control
• Experience with on-orbit operations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced development environment and work hands-on under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Flight and Orbital Dynamics in addition to attitude control
• Experience with Earth Observation missions
• International professional experience
