Through a caring, compassionate, philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care.

Responsibilities

• Assume continuous duties of patient care as assigned by the Calvary Hospital Medical Director
• Care for patients in the advanced stage of disease

Requirements

• 3600 hours experience as a Nurse Practitioner in hospital, inpatient hospice, medical-surgical, community-based Hospice, or palliative care settings
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license
• Current DEA license
• Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff
• Ability to initiate and complete complicated projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degrees related to healthcare administration and/or regulation (e.g. CPA, MBA, JD)
• Substantially relevant experience in healthcare administration or regulation
