Atlassian Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage Atlassian Cloud systems to support cross-tooling standards and Agile workstream principles.
• Manage Atlassian administration and development work in a controlled and timely manner.
• Enable integrations between multiple Atlassian products and third-party tools.
• Meet Jira Service Management (JSM) analyst, development, and administration needs for the Customer and Global products business unit.
• Drive business analysis and requirements sessions for platform improvements.
• Test and deliver solutions and workflows involving Jira software, Bitbucket, Confluence, ServiceNow, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of development experience with Atlassian Cloud systems.
• 2-3 years of system administration experience with Atlassian Cloud systems.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and customizing advanced Jira workflows (including ScriptRunner and automation) and schemes.
• Experience developing custom plugins for JSM/Jira and implementing Marketplace apps.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM practices and how they are fulfilled within JSM.
• Experience working within an Agile framework.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from a reputed institution.
• Atlassian certifications ACP-620 or ACP-120.
• Experience with MS Azure DevOps Boards, Trello, Bitbucket, or Atlassian Guard.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and other ITSM tools.
