Atlassian Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for the Work Management team, addressing technical debt, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Manage the performance, well-being, and professional growth of a global team of 6 engineers across Tallinn and Hyderabad.
• Lead architectural reviews of integrations and identify opportunities for system optimization.
• Oversee the creation of scalable project workflows and optimize Atlassian integrations and dashboard performance.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop long-term strategy and communicate technical trade-offs.
• Support the scaling of the local engineering presence in Hyderabad as part of the Platform Tribe.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering or technical management with a track record of developing talent.
• Deep expertise in the Atlassian tech stack, specifically Jira and Confluence.
• Strong technical background in delivering roadmaps and making architecture decisions involving APIs, SSO, and vendor integrations.
• Proven ability to build partnerships across engineering, product, and operations teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to prioritize roadmaps and measure success.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build structure within fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a regulated fintech environment with knowledge of data privacy and audit requirements (GDPR, SOX, etc.).
• Experience leading major system implementations or large-scale Atlassian cloud migrations.
• Expert-level proficiency or certification in Agile methodologies.
