Requirements
Current Lifeguarding Certificate, Must be a ULV student
About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe environment for open swim and aquatic competitions
- Enforce and promote all pool policies to ensure user safety
- Monitor pool activities and be prepared to handle any aquatic emergencies
- Promote a positive and cooperative environment for all pool users
- Work a regular schedule of 10:00am-1:00pm Monday through Friday, with additional hours required for home water polo games and swim meets
Requirements
- Must be a current University of La Verne (ULV) student
- Must hold a current Lifeguarding Certificate
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous lifeguarding experience
- Previous experience working in a pool environment
